SUPER-DOOPER

Hooray! I am happy! Yes, I am! I had been under gloom for a long time, and I am over it now. How I wish I can use a very effective intensifier in it's superlative degree and express what I'm feeling right now without violating any rules in grammar. Hmmm...ok, simply put: I am super-dooper-mega-to-the-max happy!!! :) How's that? (*wink)

I'm glad you are happy, stop being so negative and enjoy life. You only get one life (this time) and you need to enjoy it. Finish your degree, maybe move someplace different where they have snow and look into the future instead of being tangled in the past and the present. I can give this advice from practical experience. I wasted far too much time on regrets of the past and trying to get out of the mire of the present. You are a good man, you have to love yourself and you will in turn be loved by others.
By the way, the Shawshank Redemption is one of my favorite movies.
Looking for a loving face in the crowd...
What's all this talk about sex? Just go get some!

Why are your feelings stupid? They are your feelings, they belong to you. No feelings are stupid, they are given to you as a gift from God to distinguish you from lower animal forms.

Thanks for the comment, Mr./Ms. Anonymous. Stupid feeling? Are you refering to what I have on my headboard (blatherings... personal journal... stupid feelings, ideas, opinions... the sort of)?

Ok, just to answer what you wrote:

Feelings is part of our mental and emotional condition. It is how you perceive things surrounding you, mentally and emotionally. Now, the act of perceiving is how our rational minds work. It gives us a quick-self-conclusion whether something is good or bad...again, the state wether someting is good or bad depends on how a person perceives it.

Feelings can sometimes be really stupid. As in extremely stupid. I wallowed and I almost enjoyed self-suffering because I was feeling oh-so-lonely, but then I realized I still have my family and friends. So, I, feeling lonely, is something really stupid because I was NEVER alone but I chose to be lonely.

But I guess, we need to keep "God" away from the topic to make this issue more legitimate for a thorough discussion. When you said it is a gift from God - I'm not gonna argue with it.

Thanks for droppin by. I appreciate it.
